Honey Bee Swarms ================ Have You Found a Swarm? ----------------------- Honey bees sometimes gather in large clusters on tree branches, fences, bushes, or other outdoor surfaces. Swarming is a natural part of honey bee reproduction. A swarm is usually temporary while scout bees search for a new home. Before Contacting Us -------------------- Please gather the following information: * Your name and contact information. * The location of the swarm. * Approximately how high the bees are above the ground. * How long the bees have been there. * Whether the bees are clustered outdoors or entering a structure. * A photograph, if it can be taken safely.
